In addition to the many fine brands available at Bob's Discount Carpet, every visitor will find that there are many oil painting displayed throughout the building. These are original works of art hand painted on oil canvas by ocal artist Maxine Ferry.
Maxine taught various styles of painting in Grass Valley for over 30 years. She specialized in scratch art oils over canvas, pastels over suede and portraiture. Maxine worked for Bob for over 25 where she managed wallpapers and helped with sales and design. Maxine passed away in 2007 but her spirit and passion lives on in her paintings which are proudly displayed throughout our new facility.
